WHY JESUS?

You’ve seen the animation now read why Jesus came into the world.

Whoever you are, whatever you’ve done, GOD loves You and wants you to be reconciled to Him - which is why what follows is no myth, neither is it just a story but it is indeed the TRUTH and it could change your life.

‘God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.’
[Genesis chapter 1 verse 31]

In the beginning God created man. Together they enjoyed a perfect relationship. Sin (rebelling against God’s will) and death did not exist. But it didn’t remain that way.

‘Therefore just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.’

[Romans chapter 5 verse 12]

The relationship between God and man was broken when man, tempted by the devil, fell from God’s grace by allowing sin to enter the world. And sin created a barrier between God and man. Today wherever you look, you can see the devastating impact and tragic consequences of man’s fall.

‘All our righteous acts are like filthy rags.’

[Isaiah chapter 64 verse 6]

Since his fall, man has tried to reach out to God in a variety of ways. Some of those ways are shown above. But all of man’s efforts fell short of what God desired.

‘Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”’

[John chapter 14 verse 6]

“God so loved the world (you), that he gave His only Son (to reach out to man), that whosoever believes in Him (puts their faith in Him), should not perish but have eternal life (spend eternity in God’s presence).”

‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’

[Romans chapter 6 verse 23]

Today you are at a cross roads in your life - a place of decision! Whatever you decide will determine where you spend eternity. Will you accept or reject what Jesus has done for you on the cross? Will you turn to God or away from Him? Will you choose life or death?

‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

[Romans chapter 10 verse 13]

Will you turn from your sins, invite Jesus into your life and be saved? You can do this now by praying the following prayer:

Father God, I admit that I am a sinner who has rebelled against you in thought word and deed. I believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I am sorry for the way I have lived and I repent of all my sins. And right now I receive Jesus into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank you Father. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer sincerely, God through His everlasting love will forgive you all your sins and give you the gift of eternal life. He will also begin to reveal to you His purpose and plan for your life.

But what happens now? You need to pray to God (see Philippians chapter 4 verse 6), you need to read the Holy Bible (see 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 16), meet with other Christians (see Hebrews chapter 10 verse 25), and share your faith with others as the opportunities arise (see Acts chapter 1 verse 8 and 1 Peter chapter 3 verse 15).

If you have made a decision to follow Christ please email us so that we can pray for you.
